H. Cole Wiley received a BFA in Sculpture with a minor in Digital Art and Computer Science from Louisiana State University in 2012, and an MFA in Digital Art from Tulane University in 2024. He has been a founder of multiple technology startups in New Orleans and holds two patents through this work. Cole has been studying visual arts and programming since 2004; getting started in sculpture by welding abstract forms and programming with Java. These practices have grown independently at times and at others, the art and the code meld themselves together. This delicious mix of art, fire, and code created an artist/hacker/maker who loves creating systems that maybe shouldn't exist.
H. Cole Wiley is an interdisciplinary artist who lives and works in New Orleans, LA. Professionally he writes computer vision and machine learning software and has two patents through his work as a founder at technology startups.
